Correen (Cori) Ferrentino has practiced criminal law exclusively for over 30 years. After beginning her career as a deputy public defender, she opened her own boutique criminal defense firm in Orange County in 2006. She is a seasoned trial and appellate attorney in both state and federal court. She has tried more than 55 jury trials and 500 court trials and has handled over 200 writs and appeals.
Committed to indigent defense, Cori has served on several panels, including Appellate Defenders, Inc., California Appellate Project-LA, and the federal Criminal Justice Act trial, appellate, and capital habeas panels. She shares her expertise as an adjunct professor of criminal law at both UC Irvine School of Law and USC Gould School of Law.
